TANNER: Initially, I had high hopes during the actual flood that we, our building might have been high enough off the ground that it wouldn’t be affected. You know, we went from Sunday to Thursday just sitting on the edge of the interstate and gettin drove away by police, you know, ‘cause we were trying to keep up with exactly what was going on and not being able to get back there, to the actual building. When we did get back there, and see actually the damage that, you know, the whole area suffered. The whole street looked like a warzone, you know, once everyone started pullin’ out all their contents and rippin’ out walls and things like that. Economically, like I said, we did not have flood insurance, we filed with FEMA, and they (sighs) didn’t feel like, I mean, I, we feel blessed that it wasn’t our home, but financially, it being our business, and the dollar amount that we suffered, it’s, you know, in one respect worse than a house. It’s just your personal things that you lose in your home, but it is really -- we really were blessed with all that happened and with everything that was destroyed. Within six weeks the building was repaired, and we were back up for business, but those six weeks were very tryin’, but I don’t think there was a day – the first two days we had family and colleagues and business associates that just flocked in, and brought food, and helped clean up, and, you know, it’s just a great feeling to know that so many people comes to help, you know, and, we leased the building, so, before we could actually get back to survey the damage, the owner had contractors lined up to repair the building, and when we first went in, and started the clean-up, a person that told us he was a FEMA representative came by and told us to throw out all this material that, he said, “Anything that was touched by the water”, because it had e-coli in it, had to be thrown away. So, we have five bay doors, and there were four, thirty foot long dumpsters lined up, and everything was thrown out that the water had touched.
