Description	A photograph of "some of the larger number of factory workers who participated in the mile-long parade, which was one of the main features." This photo and text appeared in the Nashville Banner newspaper with article titled: "Over 5,000 Hail TVA at Dickson … for the celebration of the coming of Tennessee Valley Authority electric power to town." The article also refers to the special event held at the American Legion Memorial Building following the parade: "Gov. Hill McAlister, David E. Lillenthal, and Dr. H. A. Morgan, TVA directors, were principal speakers at the American Legion Memorial Building where Mayor Ben Beasley gave the huge crowd of visitors the official welcome."
