Description	A photograph of an unidentified woman standing on the steps of the Cheekwood mansion grounds, in Nashville, Tennessee, between 1932 and 1946. The Cheekwood mansion was built in 1932 in the Colonial Revival style for Leslie and Mabel Cheek. Designed by New York residential and landscape architect, Bryant Fleming, wherein the magnificent limestone mansion and extensive formal gardens were inspired by the grand English houses of the 18th century. Cheekwood opened to the public on May 22, 1960 with a dedication given by Senator Albert Gore, Sr. The privately funded 55-acre botanical garden and art museum is located on the western edge of Nashville at 1200 Forest Park Drive.
