Bernard LaFayette, Jr. discusses his decision as a young man to turn down a journalism scholarship to Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University; Rev. James Bevel discusses the influence Rev. Kelly Miller Smith and other civil rights leaders had on his career; and LaFayette discusses James Bevel and the origins of the Selma March.
