Description	Excerpts from an interview with Nashville businessman, Thomas Charles ("T.C.") Jones, conducted on 10 April 2007 by James T. Havron as part of the Nashville Business Leaders Oral History Project. Jones discusses success playing softball and how it led to his first promotion as a young man working at General Shoe Corporation, a predecessor company of the footwear and headwear retailer Genesco, Inc.; being recognized and recommended by a company official for his industry and energy on a day when other employees didn't show up for their duties; and his first sale in real estate and why he enjoys being a realtor.
