The document states that Francis T. Reid received eight-hundred dollars from William Harrison, Jr. for the slave transaction, dated Jan. 25, 1843, witnessed by Lemuel B. McConnico, County Clerk of Williamson County, Tennessee. The document was recorded by J.R. Hunter, Register, on Jan. 27, 1843.
